Monrovia is a young cattery located about 40 miles northeast of Seattle in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in beautiful western Washington. Our home is several miles from town so we enjoy the beauty of nature at its best. Bordered on the west by the waters of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains and on the east by the Cascade Range we couldn't wish to live in a more scenic part of this great country.

We first became fascinated with the Oriental Shorthair breed at a cat show and it was love at first sight. Mix elegance and grace with curiosity, mischief, and personality and you get the always delightful and entertaining Oriental Shorthair. Our goal in breeding is for healthy cats with great temperaments that enhance and promote the breed.

Our cattery is registered with both CFA and TICA and we are FeLV and FIV negative.
